During the renter verification process, you may be required to verify your payment method(s). This helps Fetch protect the security of renters and vehicle owners.
To do this, Fetch will place a small, temporary charge on your payment method.
You will then need to log into your bank or credit card account to verify the amount of the verification charge.
A few things to know:
- Charges of $1.00 or less are not used for verification and may be ignored.
- Your verification charge will automatically be refunded once your verification is complete, or within 7 days, whichever is earlier.
- Your statement should include a description of "Fetch Verification" next to the verification charge.
- Be sure to check any upcoming or pending transactions to identify the verification charge.
Important: The form will auto fill with $1.01- you will need to update the number to the correct dollar amount received.
If you have received a verification request by Fetch and cannot locate the verification amount on your bank statement, please submit a request to Fetch support.
We are unable to approve accounts that unsuccessfully complete a required payment method verification.
