How is a delivery-rental defined?
Fetch qualifies delivery rentals as any rental intended for profit or revenue-generation by delivery from a third party, where the third-party is coordinating the deliveries and delivery route.
Examples of delivery rentals would include renting a Fetch vehicle for use in association for delivering packages or items in association with:
- Uber Eats
- A third-party platform that connects drivers to delivery jobs
Using Fetch vehicles to deliver packages or items of a third-party platform is not permitted with certain Fetch vehicles.
An example that would not be qualified as a delivery rentals is a florist renting a vehicle to make a delivery to a customer, as this delivery is not arranged by a third party. Another example would be a manufacturing business renting a vehicle to pick up a large piece of equipment. This use case is permitted.
