If you are enrolled in the Peer-to-peer program with the DigiSure Protection Package, your claims process is led by the Digisure team. Find out more information about what to do when you discover damage to your vehicle below.
Q: How do I file an insurance claim?
A: Claims must be filed within 48 hours of an incident. To report damage or vehicle loss, please click here to visit the DigiSure Insurance Claims site. Or, you can call the team at 833-379-7277, or email firstname.lastname@example.org. They are available 24/7 to receive claim reports.
Q: What information do I need to file a claim?
A: When reporting a claim, please provide your policy number, reservation dates, contact information for all involved parties (including any witnesses), vehicle descriptions (including VIN and license plate), and police report number (if applicable).
Q: Do I have to file a police report?
A: A police report must be filed if another vehicle is involved, there was a fire, the vehicle was stolen, or there are injuries.
Q: How long will it take for someone to contact me after I file a claim?
A: One of our claim adjusters will reach out to all parties within 24 hours of claim filing Monday through Friday.
Q: What happens after I file a claim?
A: You may be asked to provide pre and post-trip photos, a description of the incident, and details of your existing policy. An estimate will be provided shortly after the claim is filed. Owners may also obtain an estimate independently, emailing the documents to email@example.com. When all parties are in agreement regarding vehicle damages, repairs will be authorized. If the vehicle is a total loss or stolen, then additional processes include contacting any lienholders and requesting the vehicle’s title. The renter is financially responsible for all Physical Damage to the booked vehicle, as well as any related costs (e.g. appraisal fees, storage, towing fees). All DigiSure protection plans are supplemental and only apply to the amount that the renter is obligated to pay after all their available sources of insurance have been exhausted.

A: Please provide any additional information to your claim adjuster via phone or email.
Q: How do I get paid?
A: If payment is applicable, we will either pay the repair shop directly or send payment by mail or ACH to the owner.

A: Once your DigiSure-approved estimate is received, you can begin repairs at your discretion.
