Creating a Location Description

When building your vehicle's inventory page it's important to provide landmark references so the renter can easily find the vehicle. The information in the Vehicle Location section will be visible to the renter and can help avoid any confusion at the start of their rental. Additionally, Fetch Customer Support staff can use this information when guiding a renter to the correct location and vehicle.

In the Location Description section, you'll want to be as specific as possible about where the vehicle is parked and if there are easy ways to recognize the vehicle such as vehicle color or decals. Below are some examples of effective location descriptions.

Vehicles are located in the Market Place shopping plaza parallel to Pres. George Bush Turnpike and near the Sayaka Hibachi restaurant. The van will have a Fetch Sticker on both sides of the vehicle.

The Cargo Van is located next to 1123 Smith St. Once you arrive, please look for the vehicle parked on the street Smith St. Do not park in the alleyway or behind the home as it is private property. Street Parking is recommended. If you have questions please contact Fetch customer service and not the private residential homes. 

When passing the Coca-cola building on the left make an immediate right at the light onto Roberts Dr. Then make the first right and the vehicle is located 25 yards in front of building 300. The vehicle is white with Fetch Logo sticker on the side.

Additionally, you may want to provide a picture like the one below for renters to reference. This can be added to the Locations Images section. To make an image like this, snap a screenshot from Google Maps and highlight the correct parking location.
